Near Cumbuco you find a flatwater lagoon with always windy conditions. From Cumbuco it`s only 8 kilometers downwind. On your way there you find some great waves to practise your waveriding skills! When you arrive there you can just go to shore, walk over the beach and then you kite further in the nice flatwater of the lagoon.

Here you practise all your new tricks, every time you have the same takeoff, because of the steady wind and the flatwater conditions.

Always wanted to have some nice pictures of yourself? This is the place to be! Because of the wind is offshore you can sometimes even fly over some sandbanks. With normal camer`s it`s even possible to get the best close-up photos!

When you are not kiting you can sit outside the sun under a small roof from palmtrees! Sometimes even with your feet in the water! Also you can find some nice Barracas (sort of restaurants) where you can eat all kinds of fish.

Tip: don`t forget to arange your way back. A buggy can take you back over the beach and can be aranged in every Pousada/Hotel. Will cost you about 15 or 20 real per person. Which is more or less 6 euro..
